3. SERVICES

Empire Lux Ride offers chauffeured transportation services.

Services are available for booking via the website. Users are required to choose both the pick-up location and the destination. The cost of the service can be determined based on the selected route or the hours requested for the service. At the time of scheduling, users will have the option to select their preferred type of vehicle.

Users are required to provide their current location and intended destination when requesting the service. Empire Lux Ride will then identify the driver who best meets their criteria, as well as their location and destination.

Upon scheduling the service, the user grants Empire Lux Ride permission to interact with the driver. Users have the option to request services on behalf of another individual. In such instances, the user can initiate and pay for the service by supplying the necessary details of the passenger, including their address, as well as the date and time for collection. Additionally, users can monitor the route through our notifications until the service is completed. When submitting the service request, the user must specify that the service is intended for another individual or individuals and grant us permission to send communications and updates regarding the progress of the route until it is finished.

Should you encounter any issues or have complaints concerning the service or the driver, please reach out to Empire Lux Ride for assistance. Your concerns will be directed to our helpdesk, where Empire Lux Ride will take immediate action to address and resolve any issues related to our service. To facilitate a swift and effective resolution, you will need to provide the relevant information regarding your complaint or problem.

You agree and acknowledge that you will not use Empire Lux Ride services in cases of medical emergency. In cases of emergency, please seek emergency medical services. Empire Lux Ride is not a provider of emergency medical transportation services.

You acknowledge and accept that unforeseen circumstances may occur, leading to drivers becoming disoriented, experiencing accidents while en route for pick-up, or not responding to the requests communicated by Empire Lux Ride concerning your specifications. Both Empire Lux Ride services and those provided by third parties at the user's request are not without flaws, and the user assumes the associated risks that may arise during the delivery of these services.

Passengers are required to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner towards drivers at all times. Empire Lux Ride retains the authority to terminate any service if drivers feel their physical or moral safety is at risk, if the safety of the vehicle is compromised, or if the safety of other passengers is endangered. Additionally, any behavior from passengers that is rude, abusive, disrespectful, threatening, or otherwise deemed objectionable by any individual may result in service cancellation.

The user acknowledges and agrees that Empire Lux Ride services are delivered through affiliated third-party companies. The drivers who offer the transportation services requested by users are partners and affiliates, rather than employees of Empire Lux Ride.

Empire Lux Ride may cancel any service and may change or discontinue the availability of services any time in its sole discretion.

4. PAYMENTS

Users will reserve services via the website. Payments for the services booked will be processed through Stripe, a payment processor available on the site, using either credit or debit cards.

The service fees will be determined based on the user's selected service type (point-to-point or hourly) and the chosen vehicle. The total cost will be displayed at the checkout prior to finalizing the booking. The full amount will be automatically charged to the user's credit or debit card one day before the scheduled service (one-time payment). Following the transaction, an electronic receipt will be generated and sent to the user's email, containing transaction details and confirmation of the service for the specified date and time. Should the user reach out to Empire Lux Ride after completing the booking to request additional services, those will also be charged to the provided credit card or payment information.

Should you notice any discrepancies in your billing, please reach out to us using the provided contact information, or you may submit your claim via the customer service of the appropriate payment platform.

In the event that your card is declined, you will be notified with an error message. No charges will be applied to your card, and the planned service will be terminated. There are several potential reasons for a credit or debit card being declined, including insufficient funds, a mismatch with the Address Verification System (AVS), or the entry of an incorrect security code.

If your payment is declined, you will need to provide an alternative payment method or provide another card on which the payment can be charged and processed. If the buyer does not provide a credit or debit card where payment can be processed, the scheduled service will be automatically cancelled.

It is essential to note that by finalizing the booking process for a service on our website and entering your payment information, including credit card details, you consent to and authorize the automatic charge of the service fee, as indicated during the booking, to your credit or debit card one day prior to the scheduled service date. This payment will be processed as a single transaction. Furthermore, if you request additional services after completing the initial booking, you grant Empire Lux Ride permission to charge your payment information for these additional services via our payment processor, Stripe. The costs for any extra services requested will be included in the billing for the originally booked service.

Your payment information will be handled and stored securely, exclusively for the purpose of facilitating service bookings via the website. Empire Lux Ride retains the right to utilize any payment platform available in the market that processes your data solely for the purpose of managing service bookings through the website.
